Our Community
For many years, Brighton Group has believed that building sustainable businesses requires actively contributing to the communities where we live and work.
Brighton Group strongly supports sport, the arts, and local community initiatives in the regions where it operates. Its contributions range from significant investments to smaller, community-focused support efforts.
Support is delivered through direct funding, sponsorship arrangements, and in-kind contributions.
Dress for Success
We proudly support Dress for Success Hobart – an organisation that helps to empower women to achieve the economic success they deserve. They do this by providing appropriate clothing and styling advice for interviews and returning to work. They also offer a network of support including CV and resume advice, job application and interview tips and career support workshops.
When we first partnered with Dress for Success Hobart in 2017, we added a permanent clothing donation drop off service at The Henry Jones Art Hotel. During covid, Dress for Success needed to pivot to a new business model, so we assisted by hosting a month-long clothing donation drive and clothes sorting session with our Women in Leadership team members. Over time, our partnership has also grown to include hosting Dress for Success’ signature sale event, ‘Bubbles and Bargains.’
